Persian Spy Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS and Android mobile application Persian Spy (“the App”), published and maintained by Debugsy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This document describes how information is handled when you download, install, and use Persian Spy on iOS (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play).

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining transparent data practices. Persian Spy is designed as a party game that operates primarily offline on your device, with minimal third-party integrations required for Google AdMob advertising, Apple App Store / StoreKit in-app purchases, and Google Play in-app purchases.

2. Information We Collect

Persian Spy does not require users to create an account and does not directly request names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment-card details.

We do not maintain a custom backend server to store user profiles or personal information. Any information provided voluntarily when you contact developer support (such as your email address and message content) is used strictly to assist you and resolve your inquiry.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Persian Spy on iOS or Android, integrated third-party SDKs (specifically Google Mobile Ads / AdMob, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Services) may automatically collect standard diagnostic and device data necessary to deliver ads, process purchases, and prevent fraud.

This automatically collected information may include:

• Device Hardware & OS Details: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version (iOS or Android), screen resolution, system language, and network connection type.
• Advertising Identifiers: Your Android Advertising ID (AAID) on Android devices, or Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS devices (subject to user permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework).
• Approximate Location Data: Coarse location inferred from your IP address by advertising networks to serve relevant regional advertisements and comply with local laws.
• Usage & Performance Metrics: Information regarding ad impressions, clicks, app session duration, and crash/diagnostic logs collected by Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Services.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob

Persian Spy integrates Google AdMob to display banner advertisements, interstitial ads between game rounds, and optional rewarded video ads on both iOS and Android platforms. Third-party advertising providers, including Google AdMob, may collect or process information such as:

• Advertising ID (AAID on Android, or IDFA on iOS if tracking consent is granted)
• Device information and operating system specifications
• IP address
• Approximate location inferred from IP address
• Ad interactions (impressions, views, and clicks)
• App usage information
• Diagnostics and system performance data

On iOS 14.5 and later, Persian Spy requests explicit consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing the device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for personalized advertising. If permission is denied, non-personalized contextual ads are served.

Google and its advertising partners use this information to provide, measure, personalize, and prevent fraud in advertising, depending on your consent and applicable legal frameworks.

Persian Spy does not directly sell personal information.

5. Analytics and Diagnostics

The release version of Persian Spy on iOS and Android does not incorporate standalone third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics) or third-party crash reporting SDKs (such as Firebase Crashlytics).

Basic app stability, performance aggregations, and crash diagnostics are provided through standard Apple App Store Connect developer reports and Google Play Console developer reports, which collect anonymized telemetry to help maintain app stability.

6. In-App Purchases

Persian Spy offers an optional digital in-app purchase (Lifetime Premium) to remove advertisements and unlock additional word categories.

All payment transactions are processed securely by platform providers:

• iOS Devices: Purchases are handled through Apple App Store In-App Purchases via Apple StoreKit. Transactions are governed by the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple Privacy Policy.
• Android Devices: Purchases are handled through Google Play Billing (com.android.billingclient). Transactions are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.

The developer does not directly receive or store the user’s full payment-card details on either platform.

7. How We Use Information

Information processed in connection with Persian Spy is utilized for the following purposes:

• App Functionality: Storing local game states, player names, round history, custom word lists, and active timers on your iOS or Android device.
• Advertising Delivery & Monetization: Serving banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads via Google AdMob, measuring ad performance, and supporting free app availability.
• Transaction Verification: Confirming purchase status via Apple StoreKit or Google Play Billing to grant Lifetime Premium access and remove ads.
• App Security & Fraud Prevention: Preventing invalid clicks, detecting ad abuse, and protecting system integrity.
• Customer Support: Responding to user inquiries, technical questions, or bug reports submitted to developer support.

8. Third-Party Services

The release build of Persian Spy utilizes trusted third-party services provided by Apple and Google. These services operate under their respective privacy policies:

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user personal data with third parties.

Information automatically collected by integrated SDKs (such as Google AdMob) is shared with advertising partners strictly for ad serving, measurement, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance as disclosed in Section 4.

10. Data Retention

• App Local Data: Player names, custom category words, team lists, game history, and preferences are stored exclusively on your local device (iOS UserDefaults / Android app storage). This data remains on your device until you manually modify it, clear app storage, or uninstall the App.
• Developer Support Records: If you contact us via email, we retain support messages only for as long as necessary to address your request or comply with legal record-keeping requirements.
• Third-Party Processing: Data collected by Google AdMob, Apple App Store Connect, and Google Play Services is retained and deleted according to Apple’s and Google’s respective data retention schedules and policies.

11. Data Security

We prioritize protecting user data. Because Persian Spy does not transmit or host user profiles on external servers, local app data is secured by Apple iOS App Sandbox and Android application sandboxing frameworks.

Network communications conducted by Google AdMob, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Billing utilize standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) encryption to safeguard data in transit.

12. User Choices and Controls

You have complete control over your data and app experience across iOS and Android:

• Notification Permissions: On iOS, you can grant or revoke notification permissions via Settings → Persian Spy → Notifications. On Android, manage permissions via System App Settings.
• In-App Sound & Haptics: Toggle sound effects and vibration feedback directly inside Persian Spy settings.
• Ad Personalization & Tracking (iOS): Manage ad tracking consent under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking or manage Apple advertising preferences under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
• Ad Personalization (Android): Reset or opt out of personalized ads via Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
• In-App Purchases: Purchasing Lifetime Premium removes all banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements from the App on both platforms.
• Local Data Removal: Wipe stored game history and preferences at any time by selecting "Clear Data" in Android settings, deleting app data on iOS, or uninstalling the application.

13. Advertising Identifiers (AAID & IDFA)

Persian Spy accesses device advertising identifiers — the Android Advertising ID (AAID) on Android and the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS (if tracking authorization is granted) — through the Google Mobile Ads SDK to facilitate ad frequency capping, billing attribution, and ad fraud protection.

Android Users: Reset or delete your AAID at any time via Settings → Google → Ads. When deleted, ad providers receive a string of zeros in place of your unique ID.

iOS Users: Control IDFA access via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt when launching the app or anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If tracking is disabled, ad networks will not access your IDFA.

14. Children’s Privacy

Persian Spy is intended for general audiences aged 18 and older, as declared in Apple App Store and Google Play age ratings, due to mature adult word categories (+18 / +25).

The App is not designed for or directed to children under the applicable minimum age (such as under 13 in the United States or under 16/18 in other jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

15. International Data Processing

Information processed by integrated third-party SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Apple StoreKit, and Google Play Services) may be transferred to, stored, and processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States and other global regions where Apple and Google operate facilities.

These transfers are governed by Apple’s and Google’s international data transfer mechanisms and privacy compliance certifications.

16. iOS & Android Permissions Disclosed

Persian Spy requests only essential runtime and manifest permissions necessary for its intended features on iOS and Android. Below is the full list of permissions declared:

* No other sensitive permissions (such as GPS Location, Camera, Microphone, Read/Write External Storage, or Contacts) are requested by the app on iOS or Android.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates across iOS and Android, new legal requirements, or changes to third-party SDK practices.
